Baja Spain has concluded. It was full of events, interesting and ambiguous event. On the plus side is brilliant driving of Boris Gadasin. The fight with the manufacturers’ teams proved that even with the deficient budget, despite unavailability of the tyres used by the manufacturers we can and should contend with the manufacturers teams. And5 there still are more goals to be achieved – the car should be further improved and we should practice more to be able to compete with Peterhansel. On the minus side, no point for the second place in the International Cup. Ho here is a brief overview of the event.

The route of the race this year was located in a different area which turned out to be too harsh for tyres. We had a set of tyres for every day while it turned out that there should be a set of tyres for every Special Stage. So all of the new tyres had already been used by Sunday.

After the first lap on Sunday it was obvious that Boris had to speed up to get to his rivals. And he launched into attack. Gadasin finished second outrunning all of his rivals and being left behind only by Stephane Peterhansel.

The G-Force Team and the competitors congratulated Boris with the great race and victory. But… the competition does not finish at the finish of the stage. Gadasin’s aggressive driving, constant full throttle and hard terrain resulted in increased fuel consumption. Usual amount of 50l/100 km increased to over 80l/100km. The prototype has sucked out the last drop of the fuel and Gadasin stopped at the Road section just 25 km away from the Park Ferme. Alas, the race was over for G-Force.

That’s the story. Baja Spain hasn’t submitted to G    adasin again. He was almost in the same situation as Nani Roma’s when the result of the Special Stage is not definitive for the final results of the event. According to the times showed at stages Peterhansel is the 1st, Roma is the 2nd and Gadasin is 3rd. While the final result of the event is different: second is Leonid Novitsky and third is Krzysztof Ho?owczyc.

Congratulations and thanks to all of our rivals for the interesting and honest fight. We hope we’ll continue it at the next race.
